HOW TO REACH THE ARSENAL OF VENICE
for Visitors: ATCV Line 1
From the Railway Station or from Piazzale Roma
ACTV Line 52 - exit at "Celestia" - click here to download the timetable in pdf format
*INBOUND (from "Piazzale Roma" or "Ferrovia" -> "Celestia")
Line 52 every 20 minutes.
Running time: 29 minutes from Piazzale Roma and 25 minutes from the Railway to Celestia. Walk down keeping your left (cross the bridge and follow the boardwalk along the walls up to the entrance).
NOTE - REQUEST STOP: please ask ACTV personnel to stop when needed.
Running time:
- from "P.le Roma", 6.26 am to 8.06 pm, every 06-26-46 minutes
- from "Ferrovia", 6.30 am to 8.10 pm, every 10-30-50 minutes
*OUTBOUND (from "Celestia" -> "P.le Roma" or "Ferrovia")
Line 51 con every 20 minutes.
30 minutes running time to Piazzale Roma, 25 minutes to the Ferrovia railway stop.

By car
- Highway A4 from Trieste or from Turin -> exit at 'Venezia' -> last exit on the “Tangenziale” turnpike to 'Venezia Porto'
- Highway A27: from Belluno -> exit at 'Venezia' -> last exit on the “Tangenziale” turnpike to 'Venezia Porto'
- Highway A13: from Bologna -> exit at 'Venezia' -> then first exit from the “Tangenziale” turnpike.
The Arsenale of Venice is not accessible by car.

Visitors coming from downtown Venice can walk to the “Celestia" ACTV public transportation stop: cross the bridge and follow the boardwalk along the Arsenale walls up to the entrance shown on the map below.
NOTE: the exhibit area is not accessible from the “Leoni” entrance at Campo de l’Arsenal.
